The title of this collection is »Closeness«. According to the dictionary, it stands for
/ the quality of being only a short distance away or apart in space or time
/ the quality of affection or intimacy in a relationship.
This collection was created in 2021, where it has become clearer to all of us than ever before how important closeness is.
For me, jewellery is an excellent means of expressing closeness. On the one hand it is worn close to the body and in addition wearing beloved jewellery can make us feel closer to a close person.
For this reason, I created pieces where silver and stone seem to embrace each other.
All pieces are handmade in small editions in Düsseldorf, Germany. My philosophy is to work in a resource-saving way and to manufacture my orders locally and after receiving an order to keep the carbon footprint as small as possible.
